NFL Draft

The NFL Draft is one of the most highly anticipated events of the season, and they wanted The Big Freeze to be a part of the action! This year, Dallas, Texas, hometown to The Big Freeze, was host to the epic event, which was the first NFL Draft to be held in Dallas’s 100,000-seat capacity AT&T Stadium. The NFL Draft serves as an exciting way for teams to publicly chose newly eligible players for the upcoming professional football season. Fans from around the US flock to the festivities, with Forbes projecting an estimated 400,000 people having attended the Draft or events around it. At the center of the action was the NFL Draft Fan Experience, a 3-day event open to lucky Draft ticket holders and the eager fans outside the stadium.

The custom Big Freeze array was built with the Draft in mind. The 360° set up featured sharp Pizza Hut branding, and included a living room set inside of a stadium scape, encouraging guests to show the world their pizza anticipation doorbell dance. The biggest NFL superstars including JuJu Smith-Schuster, Daryl “the Moose” Johnston, Cole Beasley, Steve Smith and Tyron Smith showed off their doorbell dance moves in The Big Freeze 360°, some of whom even cordially shared their takes with exuberant fans who stayed posted outside of The Big Freeze set up to witness all of the action.

The fans did more than watch; they interacted! Nearly 1200 shots were taken, page views verged upon 13,000, and over 800 fans shared their Big Freeze captures, making sure that their friends, family and followers were just as much a part of the experience.
