On Valentines Day, The Big Freeze spent the day doing something we love – hosting a custom Big Freeze system for the Daytona 500 Media Day! The Daytona 500 is the first and most prestigious race of the NASCAR season, and Media Day is a chance for the media and fans to rub elbows with NASCAR racers and A-listers before the big race. Sponsored by NASCAR, we created a 9-foot, 24-camera array, outfitted with confetti galore and classic black and white checkered racetrack flags, all of which was front and center in the infield VIP lounge of the Daytona International Speedway. We kept the energy high and the confetti in the sky as we captured the infectious enthusiasm of major professional NASCAR drivers such as Danica Patrick, Clint Bowyer and the Daytona 500 winner Austin Dillon. Fans experienced star treatment and were able to follow in their favorite drivers’ footsteps, striking a pose and freezing their epic moment in time to be cherished and shared long after the event. Share they did, and with over 500 shares and over 11,000 pageviews racers and attendees were able to instantly include friends, family and fans in on the experience of a lifetime.
