FreezeBOT is back! NASCAR was looking for a groundbreaking, cutting-edge addition to the annual awards ceremony for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, and our newest Big Freeze technology FreezeBOT, the guest capture robot, was just the ticket! The post-season awards ceremonies are a big day for NASCAR, and FreezeBOT was ready to add some extra wow factor to the event.
The easily transportable FreezeBOT has a smaller footprint and production friendly features, which compliments the red carpet perfectly. FreezeBOT, with its radius of 7-feet from the central pedestal and standing at 8.5-feet tall, offers state-of-the-art 6-axis robotic video capture technology, and has The Big Freeze Robotics team custom programming to create high-speed captures of 240 frames-per-second, which allows for some seriously dramatic slow motion video effects.
The 2018 post-season awards ceremonies were held at the majestic Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, where drivers hit the red carpet to celebrate all of the accomplishments of the season. Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Joey Logano, Monster Energy Series Champion and Chase Elliott, winner of NASCARS 2018 NMPA Most Popular Driver Award, were among the droves of NASCAR royalty to grace the carpet for the awards show. The FreezeBOT welcomed guests with a custom NASCAR Awards backdrop and playful gold balloons and confetti, while the robot worked her magic. Guests are able to share their capture of the high-energy event, thanks to The Big Freeze social sharing options, designed specifically with speed and ease-of-use in mind. As NASCAR would say, FreezeBOT went flat out for the NASCAR Awards! Check out our demo video from the event below.
