It was our deepest honor to participate in the XXIII Olympic Winter Games Opening Ceremonies Parade of Nations on February 9, 2018! The Olympic Games are the world’s foremost sports competition, and medal winners are globally considered to be the most prestigious and renowned in all of competitive athleticism. Hosted in Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium in South Korea, the Opening Ceremonies is the event seen around the world, and is an extravaganza not to be missed. While the journey of nearly 7,000 miles presented its own set of unique challenges, The Big Freeze was more than up for the task. We are beyond fortunate to be able to check such an extraordinary opportunity off of the Big Freeze bucket list!
The 2018 Parade of Nations included Olympic athletes bearing the flags of their respective nations as they proudly promenaded through the majestic Olympic Stadium and made their way through a custom designed and built Big Freeze array. Flag bearers were captured in stunning state-of-the-art frozen motion, the perfect juxtaposition for the icy Olympic Winter Games. Flag-bearing athletes showcased their physical prowess and the valor of their nations as we used our unparalleled Big Freeze technology to cinematize their every movement in incredible detail. Never has the Olympic audience seen the Opening Ceremony participants from this perspective, and we are proud to share the Olympic-caliber Big Freeze action with you.
